why this thought crossed my mind i don't know, but guess what we don't ever hear anymore?

yah, they can do it all by themselves now.
and did you know that you can mess up packaged brownies? really. i did it today. we were invited to a friend's house for dinner. we were supposed to bring dessert. i'd gone shopping this morning and purchased everything i needed for a fabulous dessert. i started making the brownies at 3:30 so they would have time to cool. i was major prepared. 28 minutes later, the timer went off and i opened the oven to
yes. boiling brownies. i was talking to my mom at the time and she asked if i'd followed the high altitude directions. uh, no. so i drained off the 1/2 cup of oil that was on the surface, added 3 tablespoons of flour and put them back in the oven. that was PRETTY close to what the high altitude directions said to do. :) 20 minutes later, they were still boiling, just not as vigorously. so dessert came from the store tonight. and now i have a pan of very hard chocolate.
but it was a good idea.
brownies, broken into small pieces, topped with chocolate mousse, whipped topping, and toffee pieces, repeat. it's really yummy. but i'll have to save that for another time. bummer.
no pictures for you today. i made 3 layouts for the simple scrapbook calls, you'll probably get to see them in a couple of weeks. the ones i LOVE never get the love. oh well.
