i know it's not vacation pictures, but i thought a nice collection of fireworks pictures was in order for the day. :) so happy freedom celebrating day, i really am lucky to live in this country.
p.s.
i got my hair cut yesterday. the verdict is still out, but i think i look a little like a bubblehead personally. we'll see what happens when i style it myself.

i have been craving this little concoction i made a few weeks ago. i could eat it every meal. it's the parsley in it that i love i think, i've made it 4 times in the last two weeks and i was gone for one of those weeks.
slice 1/2 a cucumber, then slice into quarters
dice up a medium to large sized tomato
chop up three or four tablespoons of fresh parsley
crumble in a tablespoon or two of feta cheese
drizzle a couple of tablespoons of balsamic vinegar over the salad
and crack a bunch of pepper over the final product, mix well.
