loving home front

i have to admit, the colors weren't calling to me when i first saw home front by studio calico. and i can't toot a horn that isn't calling to me, but DANG, the more i use this line, the more i love love love it. i used a journaling sticker, the dollhouse paper, a figure from the darling paper, and the grey alpha stickers, along with the asterisk stamp from the noah alpha stamps to make the little yellow stars. i stamped them with distress ink in mustard seed and it is the PERFECT match. i was rather pleased at my guessing skills on that one. i think you'll see me using mustard seed a LOT in the future. i love it. i also used the market letter stickers from october afternoon, some bits and pieces of sassfras' amplified line, some strips of grey crate, and AC's glitter brads and chipboard frame. how much do i love how it turned out? so much so, i didn't even feel the need to stitch on it! thank you studio calico!,
