crafting it forward

hello and welcome to my stop on the craft it forward blog hop sponsored by scrapbooks, etc.! if you haven't been following the trail, you can go here to start at the very beginning, you'll learn a super cool technique to get a 3D star and you'll end up back here eventually :).

all this year, SBE has been sharing ways for us to use our scrapbook supplies to benefit others. june's suggestion is to make patriotic thank you cards and donate them to our military servicemen and -women. my card has some pink in it, i'm thinking some little girl would love to get this card from her mom or dad away in the service of our country, don't you agree?

make sure to check out all the different cards along the hop, next stop will be the blog of one of my scrap crushes, shannon zickel!

and be sure to make up a card or four yourself and share with the SBE community. there's a fabulous prize in it for you and your favorite charity!

thanks for stopping by :)

I like how you used all the different patterns of strips and they all go together. You are right some child would love to get this card from a deployed parent.

What a fun, whimsical feeling this card has! Great inspiration... Maybe I can use up some of my odd-n- ends in a similar fashion. So glad Operation Write Home has led me to the hop and your blog.
