cocoa daisy's february kit, by the numbers, went on sale last week while i was at CHA. i ran out of time before i left to do a blog post, but i figured better late than never, right?!?! i loved all the my mind's eye in this kit, there was a bunch of other manufacturers, but i ended up using mostly the MME. unusual for me to stick with one manufacturer, but when it's all kraft based? how could i do anything but?
this first layout is my least favorite, but i love the concept behind the page. i just couldn't get it to work design-wise. it's the conversation kelly and i have every night before we go to sleep. it makes me smile.

and this one was my favorite, i'm all about the strong banner strips lately. another conversation kelly and i often have. he really is a good man, i stand by that even when he is goofy. i'm beyond blessed to have him as my sweetie.

and finally, it was super fun putting this together. the idea hit about 4:30 a.m. after i'd gotten up for a potty break. i couldn't go back to sleep so i got up and started putting things in place. i didn't know what the top ten would actually be, but then i remembered the WCS gallery for february was about music. serendipity. and the word "tunes" fit perfectly. love how it turned out, a happy jumble of things. and i took an early nap that day, just in case you're wondering mom :).

Super cute layouts and journaling mle! Love how u used the safety pins to make flags with and the whole " Tunes" design! Worth the early morning awakening. :)
