thanks to my good friend kendra, i was asked to be a guest designer on the fiskars website. here's a little sneak of what i did with the beautiful kimberly poloson 'letters home' line. i taught a class in church on gratitude and in the end made over 60 thank you cards to give to each of the ladies. i asked them all to write a thank you to someone. i ended up getting one of those cards back in the mail. :) it took a lot of time to make all those cards, but in the end it was well worth the effort. when you do something for someone else, it always refocuses your attention on what's important, and i believe it increases your love for them as well. so thanks to kendra and may for giving me this opportunity. you can see a sampling of the cards i made, here.
and on another note, it's starting to get cold here in colorado. a couple of years ago, at the end of the winter season, i bought some socks on a clearance end cap at target. i didn't notice, but they were wool socks, a very thin wool. i am so glad i ended up with those socks. they are perfect for this weather. :)
i'm almost done with my studio calico december kit. i'll post sneaks for that soon...
and, because i find kelly's request amusing and really do believe that she would make a great marketing manager, crowdSPRING, hire Kelly Purkey for your new Community Marketing Manager!

These are beautiful M! Yup, you're right it has been a long time :-) I get into my stay at home as much as possible rut.....not a good thing for someone who really does like to be social! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Gorgeous cards and sentiment! Sounds like a fun time. :) Yup, time to break out the wool socks...
Congratulations on your guest designer gig at Fiskars. I love your work. :)
love the cards, Thursday was definitely a warm sock day, I'm partial to SMARTwools (TMI, I know)
