with a stop on the hop for studio calico's new HOME FRONT

welcome to my stop on the studio calico blog hop! i'm so excited to share with you what i've done with the new home front papers, stickers, and fabRips, but first, let me share with you a bit of my home. this is my kitchen. i don't spend as much time here as i probably should, but it is one of my favorite rooms because of my chicken collection. the chickens have followed me from our washington state home, where i had chickens and chef wallpaper. my sister made me the embroidered towels for a christmas gift and i've just added to collection here in colorado. they make me smile every time i see them. i also love my red breadbox and my black pitcher full of cooking utensils.

now, the reason you're here... i have to admit i was a little stumped by this paper at first, not quite sure what to do, but once i started cutting paper, i couldn't get this page done fast enough. it was so much fun to put these lamps together! using the fabRips to make accordion pleated lampshades made me very happy. :) now i'm seeing lots of possibilities with this paper, i just had to make the first cut. i love this layout!

so here's how you win...
