counting milligrams

i got one of the best treats this last CHA in california. paula decided to come. she usually comes to the summer CHA only and we have developed a system of sharing our meals. it's so nice, i don't waste food because there's too much on my plate. our first evening in town, she and i split this very tasty burger. i shouldn't have looked at the nutritional guide conveniently located on the tables. i felt only slightly better realizing i'd only be eating half of the horrible amount of sodium packed into the one little burger. i had to do a layout about it. :) using the cow from the odds and ends paper just cracks me up. i wasn't sure how i was going to use it when i first got the paper. i think this is the perfect place. :)

i started this to use on my blog post at SCT, but the 5 took so long to get punched and stitched that i stopped and created this:
which looks like it probably took way longer, but in all truth took less than two hours. finishing up the 5618 title took another 3. i need to pre-think some of these projects :)

some other layouts i made this month that featured anthology and home front. this one was created for the WCS biscrapping event for the WCS olympics last week. i swapped photos with kelly jeppson and had fun creating a layout about her family vacation to arches national park.

and this last one was for the SCT blog challenge on monday. add stitching to your layouts. another food layout. i'm sad you can't see just how tasty the antipasto salad is...

these are awesome! even more so than the amount of sodium! wowzers! it's a good thing you didn't eat it all...you would have needed to drink about 5 gallons of water.

great layouts, Emily...fun, fun, fun

Emily, your work is just fabulous. I love all that stitching, although I hardly have the patience to do a border or a frame on my pages... I can't imagine the patience you needed for those numbers! Still, the final result is so worth it. Love these!
