Playing with Laina Lamb's stamps and dies

I had the pleasure of playing with some amazing stamps and die cuts from my friend Laina Lamb's collection over at My Favorite Things. She sent me the right sets, I really enjoyed the versatility of the Mod Borders stamps, the Expand Your View, and the Hello My Name Is sets, I used them all on these two layouts, just fun and playful, they fit right with my style.

The stamps give such a clean and clear image, and emboss soooooo well. That's always something I'm looking for in a stamp, I love to emboss you know ;)

I also got a few of the die cuts, and they were so much fun! I got the Reel Life and the Story Titles sets and had fun adding them to the designs, such a unique way to add some fun elements to my work!

I never do birthday pages, but the HAPPY stamp in the Hello My Name Is set inspired me to go multi photo and document my daughter's 18th birthday. I loved how all of Laina's elements, the border, the stamped words and the die cut worked together so well. I actually like how a birthday page turned out :)

And this may be my most favorite to day layout!!!!!! It just fell together and I think it really showcases the fun die cuts I got. I love the This Week die cut, it was perfect for a layout about my son getting his chunky frames. I used the Expand Your View and Hello My Name Is sets as well, embossing, versamarking, and plain old ink stamping (I used the awesome new Hybrid ink from Cocoa Daisy for the black stamped words on both layouts. It's waterproof!)

So Laina, thank you for asking me to design with your products, I will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who asks for a great stamp and die, I love them as much as my Cocoa Daisy stamps :)
